About Me

 I am a baby boomer of the 50's.  Life growing up in Northern New Jersey was wonderful.   Neighborhood kids would play games like "Simon Says", "Giant Step", "Green Light-Red Light", jump rope and hopscotch.  It was a simpler and safer time.  We had no electronic games or spent endless hours watching t.v. (only 4 channels).
We rode our bikes or walked. 

 We went to school, joined activities like 4H, took ballet lessons, learned (some of us) to play an instrument and attended church.
 
Values like respect, discipline, honesty and applying ones self were our stepping stones in preparation for life. 

Today I reside in Stafford and have been a resident since 1975.  My kids attended Stafford County schools and still reside in the county and are now raising their families.

I've seen a lot of changes and growth in our area in 35 years.  This giant and stately oak is on rt 610



 in Garrisonville.  The picture was taken in 1980. Thirty one more Winters have taken their toll on the old oak but it still stands today.

My Scotties are my muse but I am not limited to just
Scotties.  I create and donate a lot of my art to rescue
groups all over the country.  My talent is a gift and I am happy to be able to share it for the betterment of
dogs.

One more commercial....My husband is a talented wood craftsman working in mostly Mission style.  He is
a master carpenter and has created some magnificent pieces that grace our home.
